My History with Brownies
Brownies have not always been the kindest to me when it came to making them from scratch. In all honestly, I really sucked. There was something about brownie science that I was not able to grasp. It wasn’t until I watched a Tasty video and learned about a certain method that I was able to make a breakthrough. After making some changes to my brownie recipes and experimenting with different combinations. I was finally able to overcome my brownie struggles and make something amazing.
Brownie Direction Help
The first thing you want to do is preheat your oven 350 F. Second you want to start off the recipe by melting your butter and let it come to a vigorous simmer.
While your butter is melting you want to add 1/4 of your cocoa powder, chocolate chips, espresso, and vanilla. Once your butter comes to a vigorous simmer you want to quickly pour onto your chocolate and mix until it’s smooth and well incorporated. Set off to the side.
In a large bowl, you want to add your eggs and both sugars and blend FOR 10 MINUTES. Yes, it has to be for that long! You want it to have the consistency of cake batter. In other words, you want it to be THICC with two C’s. Once your mixture has reached that point you want to go ahead and slowly pour in your chocolate. While still mixing of course, when everything is incorporated you want to sift in the leftover cocoa and flour. Carefully FOLDING it in being careful not to knock out a lot of air. Oh, and if you are adding walnuts it would be at this point.
When your batter is all nice and dandy go-ahead and pour it into your 9×13 pan. But as you see here in this picture I could not find mine so I used a 9×9 instead. Now the next steps are ESSENTIAL. You want to put your brownies to bake for 20 minutes. After those 20 minutes, you want to take them out, slam them on the counter twice or three times. Then put it back in the oven for an additional 20 minutes. Or longer if you end up using a 9×9 pan.
After those 20 minutes, go ahead and give it the toothpick test. Let them cool for 10 minutes! or they will end up looking ugly like mine did. From their, you can enjoy them any way you want. With ice cream or do something special like brownie pops for easter.

How to enjoy them
Honestly, it is up to you. But as I mentioned above Easter is coming up pretty soon. If you wanted you could make brownie pops. All you would have to do it destroy the brownies and add some frosting or cream cheese. From there you can dip them into some candy melts. If you are able to get those cupcake bunny easter candies you can make the pops look like bunnies. Or you can just so pastel-colored chocolate and add some sprinkles it is up to you. Other than that you can enjoy them with some vanilla bean ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream, and pecans. YUM!
