- 2 C Vegetable Oil For Frying
- 1 C All Purpose Flour
- 2 ½ Tbs Sugar
- ½ Tbs Cocoa Powder
- ¼ Tsp Salt
- ¾ Tsp Baking Powder
- ¾ C Milk
- 1 Egg
- ½ Tsp Vanilla
- Red Food Coloring
Optional
- Powdered Sugar
- Nutella
- Strawberries
Heat 1 inch of oil in a pan to 350 Degrees F.
Whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium sized bowl until combined
Next whisk milk, eggs and vanilla extract until the batter is nice and smooth. Add red food coloring as well and whisk until it is the color you want it to be.
Add batter to a squeeze bottle
Once oil is nice and hot, place your metal cookie cutter into your oil and swirl batter in a spirally shape into the oil and fry. Turn over once the first side is nice and golden brown.
Once both sides are golden brown, remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain.
Immediately cover with Nutella, powdered sugar, and strawberries
