- 2 Tbs Oil
- 1 Serrano Sliced
- 1 Garlic Clove Smashed
- ¼ Cup Onions Thinly Sliced
- 1 Cup Long Grain Rice Washed
- 2 Cups Water
- Salt To Taste
In a pot add your oil, once hot add your sliced serrano and saute for 1-2 minutes.
Than add your garlic and saute for another 1-2 minutes. Once sauteed add your onion and saute until soft.
Once your veggies are soft add in your washed rice and saute for 1-2 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent any browning.
Add in your water and salt, place a lid on your pot and let it simmer. When your rice has absorbed half of the liquid add in your corn and cilantro.
Place your lid back on the pot and let it finish cooking. Once done it is ready to be enjoyed
